Caldwell County, situated in the Piedmont region of North Carolina, has Lenoir as its county seat. As per the 2020 Census, the population stands at 80,652. The median household income hovers around $53,732, and the racial demographic distribution includes 90.9% White, 5.4% African American, 0.9% Asian American, and 6.5% Hispanic/Latino residents. The gender distribution was documented as 50.2% female and 49.8% male.  From 2018-2022, the median gross rent was recorded at $717. In 2023, there were 737 homes purchased.
